Englewood YMCA Member and Community Fund Drive	Campaign Volunteer Opportunity Category: administration Be a storyteller and convey the positive impact of the Y’s programs and services in the community. Act as a Y ambassador by sharing the Y’s goals and programs for vulnerable kids and families. Visit Y members and friends for the purpose of building their awareness of their Y’s work locally and raising charitable gifts that result in the attainment of individual and team goals. By doing so, the Y will be able to support our families in need with rebuilding lives and livelihoods.

Program seeks to close the gap in students’ reading performance and the State of Florida’s reading performance expectations. It’s is an excellent volunteer opportunity because it allows the volunteer to have a positive involvement in a child’s life, have a practical and enriching experience working with at risk children, and will provide the volunteer with an educator experience in a diverse and high need community.
